Kalispell, Montana

July 9, 2014

This is my most favorite place to vacation ever! There is nothing better than spending time at Grandpa’s Ranch in Kalispell! So many memories have been made here. We try to all get together at least once a year which is so fun when everyone is there! It is so refreshing to see the kids run free all day outside without any electronics!!! The little girls get to help Grandpa feed the horses and brush them and of course ride them. Kalyssa turns into such a lil cowgirl when we are there and I love it! With Rhinos, 4 wheelers,  and motorcycles, exploring the mountains is the greatest it is so beautiful there!!!

The first day we took the boat out and spent the day at Flathead Lake after getting back late that evening we just bbq some chicken and sat around on the balcony and chatted till late:) 2nd day we just hungout at the ranch and went on some trail rides the girls swam, played tennis, took care of the horses, and spent time with grandpa. Glacier Park was our adventure for the next day so we got up early made sandwiches and packed lunches for everyone and then spent the day exploring Glacier Park. Most Beautiful Park ever with the most amazing waterfalls!!! The next day we decided to leave the ranch and head up to Grandpas cabin in Trego which is about an hour or so away. I was so excited to show Matt the cabin and Dickey Lake which is my all time fav lake! The most crystal bright green blue water ever it is so breathtaking up there! We took the boat out on the Lake and then went back to the cabin for dinner and then took a journey down by the river on Grandpas property and made smores and had a super fun filled night! The next day we went into Whitefish and of course had to get Huckleberry Ice-cream and Huckleberry Souvenirs for everyone syrups and jams candy etc. I love Huckleberry Everything!!! We ate outside on the deck at Caseys which overlooks the Big Mountain and it was so pretty. Our Montana trip was amazing and I am missing it already lol!
